Lice Prevention After An Outbreak

It’s one thing to employ proper head lice treatment when an outbreak occurs in your or your children, but what about the cleanup? As with most pests, headlice cannot survive extreme heat. So, the best course of action in cleaning them out of your home is to dry everything that you can fit into your clothes dryer. This is great for stuffed animals, rag dolls, bedding, pillows, all sorts of clothing including towels, washcloths, etc. A timed cycle of around 15-30 minutes should do the trick.

I’m sure you have heard the suggestion that putting your clothing or stuffed animals into sealed plastic bags will suffocate head lice. This is not the case. More likely, by putting them into plastic bags the lice die of starvation. But there is a chance that doing this will not kill the lice and therefore a re-infestation can occur. This is not the case with putting articles into a high heat dryer for 30 minutes.

Obviously not everything will fit in your dryer. So, for things like carpeting and furniture, it’s best to vacuum everything thoroughly. Be sure to throw away the vacuum bag inside a sealed garbage sack, or empty the debris container for bagless vacuums, and remove it completely from your house. An outside garbage can is best.

There is no need to vacuum for 30 minutes in one concentrated area of course. A few times over the area will do fine.

You may also want to try creating your own “natural” repellent spray that can be made by combining ¾ of an average sized plastic spray bottle with about 20 drops of 100% Tea Tree Oil. Lice, among other pests such as ticks and mosquitoes, do not like the smell of Tea Tree Oil, and so it is a terrific choice for a repellent.

Once you have your mixture, simply begin spraying it on your furniture and carpeting. You needn’t over-spray and completely saturate your furniture. Lightly spraying will do the trick.

Of course, while this guide is for “natural” remedies, if you still feel unsafe about the conditions of your household items where lice can survive for a few days, then you can use a de-licing spray. But this is solely up to your discretion. Vacuuming should work just as well. I hope these tips will help you in the future should you find an outbreak in your family.

eLottery Group Gives A Greater Chance Of Hitting The Jackpot

The eLottery group began late in 2002. The group plays the UK Lotto and EuroMillions, with more exciting games soon. eLottery has been consistently providing players all over the world a Real chance of hitting the jackpot.

What Is A Syndicate?

Put quite simply it gives you a better chance of winning. For a more detailed explanation you can read more about lottery syndicates.

The UK Lotto Syndicate

The UK eLottery syndicate gives you a share of 88 tickets per week playing the UK Lotto. That’s 44 on Saturday and 44 on Wednesday. That’s 44 times the chance of winning in every single draw. And it just costs what you would normally pay for just 5 tickets. When you join you are automatically placed in a 49 player team. So big enough to give a nice boost to your chances of winning. And small enough that you can still get a nice chunk of money when sharing the jackpot.

The UK Lotto is drawn two times per week and it is shown live on BBC One. There are 12 different machines that can be used for the draw which are selected randomly to make the results fair. Whilst it started off as ‘The National Lottery’ in 2002 it was renamed ‘Lotto’ and that is what many people now call it.

Growing

elottery now have members in over 130 countries all over the world. They have grown a lot over the years, and already moved to bigger offices. ‘The need for extra working space to maintain the high standard of service to members and keep pace with technological advances and demands has been on the cards for some time’ said co-founder Len Fitzgerald

What About the eLottery Winners?

The eLottery syndicates have had numerous big six figure wins, which have been featured in the National Newspapers (you can see some of the elottery winners here). But obviously it’s what happens in future that is important to you. When those future jackpot wins arrive that’s when you definitely want to be playing in the winning syndicate!

How To Join

It’s simple to join. You can join online, and decide which games you want to play and for how many weeks you want to play for. There is no commitment to continue - you can stop at any time you like.

Wedding Favors - Enjoy Choosing This Tiny Item That Your Guests Always Love!

Usually, wedding favors have been a part of bridal showers and weddings for hundreds and hundreds of years. Only a century ago, the success or failure of a wedding was evaluated by the gift given the guests that attended. There is even an old wives tale which does say: if your guests are not happy with your favor, you won’t be happy with your wedding no matter which location you choose.

This small item can quickly turn into an afterthought for many that are planning their wedding. After all, it’s the very last thing to be considered and no one really sees them or cares about them. Again, this is erroneous and you will soon learn what a traditional and wonderful part of every wedding this small touch truly is. It even means more if you coordinate the location of your wedding with the theme right through your wedding, including the wedding favors.

If you’ve ever been in the middle of arranging a wedding you know as good as I do that it can be a harrowing experience. Many times couples get very close to postponing it because of their stress level and the anxiety of those around them. So with all of that going on, who has time to think of that little item that nobody cares about anyway; the wedding favor? And even more, who has time when you are contemplating whether to have a destination wedding, a wedding in your hometown and if that’s the case, what banquet hall do you choose? Brides and grooms need help with wedding locations.

So, when couples whine that they don’t have time for their favor, I ask them, “What is the initial thing you see when you go to a wedding and sit down at your reception table?” Eventually, they reply, “The wedding favor!” I rest my case.

Okay, now that I have your attention, how do you manage to get an awesome gift to give your guests and still handle the ‘more important’ tasks that need to be accomplished? It really is very easy. While you are shopping for your gown, reception venue, flowers, etc. keep a sharp eye out for something wonderful and unique that you could use for your favor. When you find it, do not buy it! Look online for the same item or an item that is similar. You will literally save hundreds of dollars!

That being said, everyone realizes that with so many pressing ‘more important’ items on your agenda to tend to, that the favor is at the bottom of your list. And of course, who wouldn’t concur that your ceremony, where to have your reception and what kind of wedding you will have is much more important. But don’t allow frustration and anxiety to cause you to overlook the one item that your guests are taking home with them. And as you are exploring where to have your wedding, keep in mind that the best thing to do is to coordinate your location with your wedding favors.

A Moving Checklist Reminds You What To Do.

I have done a lot of moving throughout my life. My father works for a company that has made us relocate often, so I grew up all over the country. The hardest part about moving around at such a young age is the fact that every time I would have to move, I would have to relocate to another school and make all new friends. This was difficult at a young age because every time I would more somewhere else, something different would be in style. I would be an outcast until I met that style requirement.

Another thing that was hard for me when I had to move is that every time I would start a new school, I would either be ahead or behind on where they were teaching the material. I remember moving from Missouri to Mississippi, and getting to Mississippi when I was just learning multiplication. The class I joined was already working on division, so I was really confused. It took a lot of work on my part, but I was able to make it through.

When moving, I remember we would make a moving checklist. This list would be comprised of everything that we needed to do when we moved, and everything that we needed to do when we were settling in our new home. The list would include such items as what to pack, what we wanted to bring, and what would get thrown away. It would also include things like clean the floors, or repaint certain walls.

Most of the times when I moved as a kid, my family used one of the many long distance moving companies out there. This was such the case when we moved from New Mexico to Florida. I remember flying and getting to see our new home, but not being able to stay there because it would take four days for all of our belongings to arrive.

The last move that I participated in was a short move just down the street. We ended up using a Florida moving company for this one. We currently live in Orlando, and so it was not hard to find a company that would transport our belongings two miles down the road. This was the easiest move I can remember we have done, because we were able to basically move into our new home in one day, and not have the hassle of waiting for all of our belongings to arrive.
